Mass Appeal
Written by Bill C. Davis and directed by Sally Dunlap, Mass Appeal is a brilliantly funny yet compassionate play that had a long and critically hailed Broadway run. The play explores the conflict between an established, older priest and the impassioned young seminarian who challenges the validity of his well-routined life. The play will be presented at Center Stage Community Theatre, 604 Powell Street, Lebanon, IN 46052, every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 pm and every Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm from March 5 through March 21, 2010. The price of tickets is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students (Senior status starts at 60). Center Stage is handicapped accessible. Cell Phones for Soldiers

The library has partnered with the national non-profit, Cell Phones for Soldiers, to collect used cell phones for recycling. By refurbishing phones or recycling parts, the non-profit generates funds to purchase prepaid calling cards for soldiers serving overseas. Each donated phone can provide service members with approximately one hour of talk time to call loved ones. Residents may drop off used cell phones, which must have the service terminated, memory cleared and SIM cards removed, at the library anytime between March 1 and April 30.
Center Stage Community Theatre to hold auditions for Neil Simon's comedy, Last of the Red Hot Lovers

Center Stage Community Theatre will hold auditions for the Neil Simon comedy, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, on Monday March 22 and Tuesday March 23, at 7:00 pm both nights at the CSCT theatre, 604 Powell St., Lebanon, IN 46052. Last of the Red Hot Lovers premiered on Broadway in 1969 where it ran for 706 performances. The play was nominated for a Tony Award for that year. Written by Neil Simon in 1969, Last of the Red Hot Lovers was a long running Broadway hit and went on to become a successful Hollywood movie.
Director Laurie Atwater will be casting one man, early forties; three women, 20-40. Age, of course, is not a matter of the actor's actual age, but of what age he can appear to be on stage. Actors do not need a prepared audition piece.
Community Event Silent & Live Auction (4th annual)

Lebanon High School Spring Drama
"I Never Saw Another Butterfly" by Celeste Raspanti
The play is an imaginative creation from poems, diaries, letters, journals, drawings and pictures made by children of the Holocaust. The play follows the memories of one child as she encounters the horrors of hatred and understands the beauty of mercy, love, and forgiveness. The students of Lebanon High School have brought this dramatic production to life, reclaiming the lives of the thousands lost.
