Jim Johnson has lived in Boone County since he was in the second grade. He is a graduate of Western Boone High School. Jim also works as a freelance sportswriter for the Associated Press, SlamMagazine, IndySportsOnline.com, the Crawfordsville Journal Review, and other publications. He got his start in sports writing as an eighth grader and worked for The Lebanon Reporter covering Boone County sports until he graduated from high school.

Jim started with RadioMom as a junior at Western Boone, but took off from RadioMom when he attended Vincennes University for broadcasting.

Jim enjoys spending time with his friends, watching movies, playing cards, going out to eat, watching sports, and just hanging out. He enjoys working at RadioMom and doing his work in sports writing.
