Twenty days after being released from the hospital, Mateline Shelton got the opportunity to meet and have lunch with many of the first responders to celebrate the recovery of Mateline with a “Hero’s Luncheon.” This allowed Mateline to meet and speak with those first responders that did everything in their power to save her life. The Boone county Sheriff’s Department would like to thank both the Advance Fire Department and Jaw Bone BBQ for hosting and sponsoring the event.
