Linda Kay (Rule) Barnett teacher, coach, Athletic Director, and member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame passed away on April 3rd.  Barnett attended Indiana Central (Now the University of Indianapolis) where she earned 12 athletic letters. After college she began her teaching and coaching career at Zionsville High School, where she took over the basketball program during the 1973-74 season and quickly compiled a record of 67 wins and only 28 losses in six years. After Zionsville she took her skills to Clinton Central to coach and serve as the school’s athletic director. She finished her coaching career with an impressive record of 395-183. Barnett served as an Assistant Coach for the Indiana All-Star Team in 1988 and served on the IHSAA Board of Directors from 2000-2004. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort is assisting the family with arrangements.
