Betty Joan Clouser, 76, of Whitestown, Indiana, passed away on Thursday night, December 12, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born August 2, 1943, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late William A. and Goldie Marie (Wilson) Martin.

On October 24, 1964, she was married to Richard Byron Clouser in Whitestown. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2019.

Betty was a 1963 graduate of Whitestown High School. She worked a few years as a secretary at Van Camp Hardware and Iron in Indianapolis. She had also clerked at Frank’s Foodliner in Whitestown for about five years. Although she considered her most important job as taking care of her husband and the housework.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, William Martin.

Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home in Lebanon.

Interment will follow services at Salem Cemetery in Zionsville, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
