The U.S. Department of Education recently released its list of National Blue Ribbon Schools Award recipients and one Zionsville school earned a nod. Boone Meadow Elementary School was one of the state’s eight schools to earn the award. Created in 1982, the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and private elementary, middle and high schools that are either high-performing or have improved student achievement – especially among disadvantaged students.
