Mr. Charles Rick Posey, 62, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lebanon on Sunday, August 1. 2021. He was born in Lebanon on March 28, 1959; a son of the late Charles W. and Lorene M. (Holt) Posey.
He attended Lebanon High School. Following high school, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. On November 25, 1995, he was married to Lisa L. (Taylor) Posey in Lebanon, Indiana; she survives.
Rick was a member of the VFW in Lebanon. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed golfing, fishing, NASCAR with his oldest boy and ATV racing with his youngest. He was a devoted husband and a loving father, son and brother who will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife: Lisa Posey of Lebanon; two sons: David (Stephanie) Venis of Illinois, Charles “Casey” Posey of Lebanon; two sisters, Brenda Jones of Lebanon, April (David) Fields of Lexington, Kentucky
Funeral Services are to be held at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home in Lebanon.
Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon
Memorials may be given in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans.
