Charline Clements 82, of Lebanon, passed away on March 19, 2024. Charlie, as she was known to all, was born April 30, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Raymond and Mollie (Nugent) Ramsey.
She spent her entire life in the food/bartending industry and shared her late husbands’ profession of running racehorses.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin (Doug) Deaton; two granddaughters, Spring Deaton/ (Jeremy Wilburn) and Samantha Bilderback/ (Joel McWaters); one great granddaughter Skylar Bilderback; three stepsons (Denny, Tim, Pete) and one nephew Ricky.
Charlie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings and one stepson.
Charlie was one of a kind and always did things her way. She was never without a colorful word in any situation. Often times embarrassing her family with her antics, choice of interesting clothing and lack of marksmanship skills (thank you Jesus). Charlie lived life by her personal Trinity of smoking, drinking, and cussing. She was very generous with her opinions and loved her animals.
A special thank you to her granddaughter, Samantha, for taking such great love and care after she lost her home in 2022, due to a fire. Since the summer of 2023, she resided at Autumn Trace where she received excellent care, until her death.
In lieu of official services, have a drink in remembrance of mom/Charlie. May she have peace.
Services will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements.
