FRANKFORT, Ind. – The City of Frankfort announced the Street Department will pick up recycling tomorrow, Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Street Superintendent, Jason Forsythe, urges citizens to have their recycling on the curb by 7:00am to ensure pick-up as the routes may be different due to the predicted weather.

Thursday’s trash pick-up for the southeast quadrant will be postponed on February 3, 2022. “We understand that it will be an inconvenience to hold your trash, but our main focus will be clearing roadways for travel around our community and keeping our employees safe,” said Superintendent Forsythe. “We will be working around the clock from Tuesday evening until this winter storm makes its way through Frankfort.”

Please watch the City of Frankfort’s website or City of Frankfort and Frankfort Street Department’s Facebook page for travel updates and trash schedule for Friday.

If you would like to bring your recycle or trash to the Frankfort Street Department, please make sure it is between the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday.
