[Clinton County 3rd Highest in State for New Average Daily COVID-19 Cases]

For a 7-day period running from July 30th through August 5th, Clinton County had the 3rd highest new average daily cases in the State of Indiana when normalized against population.

“The graph shows the average daily new COVID-19 cases per capita (per 100,000 people) over the last week by county across Indiana. Southeast and Central Indiana have been the worst lately with Southwest not far behind,” per the author of this chart, Micah Pollak, an Associate Professor of Economics (PhD in Economics) at Indiana University Northwest.

According to the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), Clinton County reported 4 new COVID-19 cases on the Sunday, August 9, 2020, report with 434 confirmed cases since the start of testing.
