After 14 weeks of a county-wide State of Emergency ordinance due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Boone County officials are settling into a “new normal.” The Boone County Health Department, along with the Boone County Emergency Unified Command committee, recommended the commissioners let the state of emergency lapse.
