Mr. Coy A. Bishop, 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at his home in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born on September 23, 1955, in Broadhead, Kentucky, a son of William E. and Ethel (Wilson) Bishop.
On October 27, 2000, he was married to Linda Lou (Richardson) Bishop in Zionsville, Indiana; she survives.
Coy worked as a self-employed truck driver. He owned several properties around the area to which he rented. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, working in the vegetable garden, riding his motorcycle, and tinkering around on things. Above all, he loved his family and the time they spent together.
Survivors include his wife, Linda L. Bishop of Lebanon; daughters, Marlyne Bishop of Jamestown and Lititia Lizzie Maria Collins of Manson, Indiana; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; fifteen siblings; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana, with Rev. Cheryl Russell, officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow services at Browns Wonder Cemetery in Lebanon.
