Dale Allen McKinney, 62, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. He was born June 27, 1962, in Lebanon, a son of the late Beryl “Jack” and Gloria Mae (Hancock) McKinney.
Dale graduated from Western Boone High School with the class of 1981. He had worked for Shumate’s Business Forms and Dale’s Machine Shop in Thorntown, as well as CNH and Nucor as a supervisor. He enjoyed spending time in Florida.
Survivors include his brothers, Darrell McKinney of Jamestown and Charles (Wilma) McKinney of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy, Kenneth, Ronnie, and David McKinney; and sister, Kathy Schrier.
Family and friends will gather Wednesday, July 31, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Dale will be laid to rest at IOOF Cemetery in Jamestown.
