Edna M. Grater, 97, of Lebanon, passed away March 31, 2020, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon.
Edna was born Jan. 5, 1923, in Mud Creek, IN, a daughter of the late James and Minnie (Lafforge) List.
Edna graduated from Advance High School. She worked for Heffner’s Poultry in New Brunswick, Stewart Warner, and then retired from housekeeping at Witham Hospital. After retirement, Edna volunteered for Witham for over 20 years. She loved being a member of Boone County Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her children, Sue (Terry) Ford of Lebanon and Jim (Laura) Grater of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Scott Ford of Lebanon and Jennifer (Omar) Nava of Clarksville, TN; and great-grandchildren, Antonio and Makayla Ford, and Spencer Nava. Edna was preceded in death by her brothers, Marcus, Hubert, Paul, and Howard List; and sisters, Vinnie Luper and Annabell Pinnick.
Private funeral services will be held in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Edna will be laid to rest at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown.
