With new firms soon to be under contract, work on Lebanon’s regional wastewater facility is expected to start this fall. The plant is being planned in the Lebanon Business Park to handle wastewater pre-treatment for Ken’s Foods and future members of the industrial park. An initial agreement has been reached between the city, RETTEW Associates and PACE Energy, LLC, to build the 160,000-gallon-per-day wastewater facility, after a previous design contract fell short of expectations, Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry said.
RETTEW will design the facility and act as contractor for the project while PACE Energy will finance and own the facility, with Veolia North America to be placed in charge for long-term operations.
