Gordon L. Stout, 83, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021, at his home.
Gordon was born June 18, 1937, in Lafayette, a son of the late Shirley and Mary (Shockey) Stout. He married Patricia Veach on May 12, 1988. She survives.
Gordon served in the US National Guard for 10 years. He went on to work for the Journal Courier for many years, also for Frito Lay for 21 years. Gordon enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Stout; children, Lanette, Sherette, Gordon D. Stout, Vincent Stout, Tamera Rodeman, and Thomas Rodeman; sisters, Ava Englert and Dawn Waggoner; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Gordon was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Lois; daughter, Neicha Stout; siblings, Rex and Syra Stout; and grandsons, Jared and Ryan.
The family extends many thanks to the Rock Steady Boxing Program for their support.
Final care of Gordon has been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Rock Steady Boxing Program at the Witham Wellness Center.
