Mrs. Hazel E. Rogers, 91, of Advance, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, in Indianapolis. She was born December 31, 1930, in Mintonville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Joda and Bertha (Delton) Thompson.
On March 18, 1950, Hazel was married to Lowell Gene Rogers in Jamestown, Indiana. He passed away September 30, 2019
Hazel worked many years as an inspector in a machine shop. She enjoyed spending time in her vegetable and flower gardens.
Survivors include her children: Patricia “Patty” Rogers of Jamestown and Ronald (Debra) Rogers of Texas
Four grandchildren: Karen Jorns, Kyle Jorns, Katharine Rogers of Colorado and Valerie Rogers of Texas; five great grandchildren and sister: Wanda Fearnow
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Myers Mortuary. Interment will follow services at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jamestown.
