On June 23, at approximately 2:36 a.m., Deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office responded to an unresponsive 17-year-old juvenile male, who appeared to have been struck by a vehicle.Preliminary evidence at the scene indicates the male was walking on the westbound side of US 421 (Clay Ave), north of State Road 26 (near Genda Funeral Home) when he was struck by a southbound vehicle. The vehicle left the scene. Lifesaving measures were performed by the juvenile’s mother, Deputies and other first responders at the scene.
