Witham Health Services has lost more than $5.6 million dollars in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The May meeting of the Witham Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees was positive and sobering at the same time. To the positive, 2019 was a good year for the health system financially, but the COVID-19 pandemic has been a struggle for April. Blue & Co., an Indianapolis CPA firm, determined through an independent audit that 2019 finished up with a positive operating income.
