(Indianapolis, IN)  —  The Colts are making some roster moves as they ease into another week of preparation.  Indy claimed cornerback D.J. White off waivers from Kansas City and signed corner Denzel Rice to their practice squad.  They also waived center Dillon Day and released cornerback Channing Stribling from the practice squad.  Head coach Chuck Pagano addressed the media yesterday and said veteran corner Vontae Davis is not a lock to start this coming Sunday.  The struggling vet was inactive last week and his name surfaced as the trade deadline approached.

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  The Colts are preparing to host the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday.  Indy is 3-and-6 after this past weeks win over Houston.  Pittsburgh was on a bye and will enter play at 6-and-2.  The Colts are two-and-a-half games behind Tennessee and Jacksonville for first in the AFC South.

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  The Pacers are back on the hardwood tonight when they welcome the Pelicans to Bankers Life Fieldhouse.  Indy is 5-and-5 coming off two-straight losses.  New Orleans is also 5-and-5 but winners of two-straight.  Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.

(Undated)  —  Notre Dame will find out its fate in the latest College Football Playoff rankings when they are released tonight.  The Irish were number-three in the first edition.  They are coming off of a 48-37 win over Wake Forest and visit 10th-ranked Miami this weekend.  Indiana welcomes Wisconsin and Purdue hosts Illinois in Big Ten action on Saturday.
