(Indianapolis, IN)  —  Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is being ruled out for this Sunday’s home game against the Arizona Cardinals.  Luck also missed the Colts’ 46-9 season-opening loss to the Rams in Los Angeles as he continues to recover from offseason shoulder surgery.  Scott Tolzien started in Luck’s place against the Rams but was benched in favor of Jacoby Brissett.  Head coach Chuck Pagano said Monday that they are currently evaluating the position.

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  The Colts look to rebound on Sunday as they host the Arizona Cardinals in their home opener at Lucas Oil Stadium.  Arizona is also 0-and-1 after losing to Detroit.  Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

>>IU, FIU Cancel Saturday’s Game In Bloomington

(Bloomington, IN)  —  The Indiana Hoosiers are cancelling Saturday’s scheduled home game against Florida International due to Hurricane Irma.  Both schools’ athletic directors had been discussing whether to hold the game in the aftermath of the storm that has ravaged the state of Florida.  Irma has caused travel concerns for the Golden Panthers and the university says their campus could remain closed through the week.  IU and FIU plan to schedule a matchup in a future season in Bloomington, Indiana instead.  Meanwhile, IU is looking to find a replacement game on October 7th when it has a scheduled bye week.

(Undated)  —  In college football action coming up this weekend,  Purdue hits the road to take on Missouri on Saturday.  The Boilermakers are coming off of a 44-21 win over Ohio.  Also on Saturday, Notre Dame looks to bounce back from its tough loss to Georgia when they visit Boston College.
