(Canton, OH)  —  Five former Indianapolis Colts players are on the list of 108 nominations for a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  Running back Edgerrin James, centers Jeff Saturday and Ray Donaldson, offensive lineman Chris Hinton and linebacker Cornelius Bennett are up for honors.  Saturday is on the list for the first time.  Of 108 nominees, 15 will be finalists to be voted on just before next year’s Super Bowl.

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  The Colts look to rebound on Sunday as they host the Arizona Cardinals in their home opener at Lucas Oil Stadium.  Arizona is also 0-and-1 after losing to Detroit.  Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

>>IU Adds Charleston Southern To Football Schedule

(Bloomington, IN)  —  Indiana has a full football slate again.  The Hoosiers added Charleston Southern to their schedule yesterday after this weekend’s scheduled contest with Florida International was cancelled in the wake of Hurricane Irma.  The game will be played on October 7th.  Fans who purchased single-game tickets and parking passes for FIU will need to have them exchanged for the Charleston Southern game.

(Undated)  —  In college football action coming up this weekend,  Purdue hits the road to take on Missouri on Saturday.  The Boilermakers are coming off of a 44-21 win over Ohio.  Also on Saturday, Notre Dame looks to bounce back from its tough loss to Georgia when it visits Boston College.
