Head coach Chuck Pagano says running back Frank Gore is dealing with an ankle issue, but Gore still took part in portions of practice yesterday. Safety Malik Hooker is expected back today after an excused absence on Monday.

The honor comes after the 23-year-old went 1-and-0 with a 1.35 ERA in two starts last week against Rochester and Pawtucket. Glasnow threw seven innings of one-run ball against Rochester and struck out 12 in six-and-a-third against Pawtucket.
