Mr. Jackie Lee Myers, 84, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born in Boone County, Indiana, on July 2, 1935, a son of the late Clarence Taylor and Gladys Emma (Morton) Myers.
A lifelong resident of Boone County, Jack graduated Lebanon High School. Following school, he served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged.
He was married to Marsha K. (Haase) Myers and they later divorced.
For many years, Jack worked as a metal worker for Dale’s Machine Shop in Thorntown. In his free time he enjoyed watching the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis Colts and collecting antiques.
Jack is survived by his son, Myron M. Myers of Brownsburg, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Morris Myers, Carroll Myers, Robert Myers, Lawrence Myers, Charles Myers and William Myers; and an infant sister, Donna Kay Myers.
No public services will be held at this time. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
