Mrs. Jane Willhite, 82, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, Mar. 6, 2022, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon.

Jane was born Aug. 6, 1939, in Marianna, AR, daughter of the late James “Gordon” and Captola (Riden) Evans. She married Robert Willhite, Sr. on July 17, 1955, in Clarksdale, MS. He survives.

Jane worked at Donaldson’s Finer Chocolates for many years. She enjoyed collecting antiques, especially dolls, and going to auctions and yards sales to find the best treasures. Her family was truly important to her. Jane was a member of the Dover Christian Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Robert “Bob” Willhite, Sr. of Lebanon; sons, Robert M. Willhite, Jr. and James Randall “Randy” (Janet) Willhite of Goodland; brother, Larry Evans of Ft. Worth, TX; grandchildren, Lauren (Eric) Donohue and Zachary Willhite; and great grandchildren, Madilyn, Samuel, Claire, and Connor Donohue.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her siblings, Eleanor “Margie” Grice, James “Jimmy” Evans, infant Hubert Evans, and Brenda Ranney.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, Mar. 12, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m., with Pastors Steve Jaggers and Shawn Tulley officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Jane will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Dover Christian Church, 955 IN-75, Lebanon, IN 46052.
