Jeffery Swafford, Jr., 33, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Jeff was born Aug. 15, 1988, in Marion County, the son of Jeffery Eugene, Sr. and Tammy (Kirby) Swafford.
Jeff was full of life, and he never met a stranger. He loved his family the most. Among so much more, he loved his Grandpa Kirby singing to him. He loved listening to music and dancing, especially hip hop. Jeff also enjoyed playing basketball and was a diet coke and peanut butter M&M fanatic. Despite Jeff’s challenges he endured his entire life, it would never slow him down. He touched so many lives and for that his parents are grateful.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff, Sr. and Tammy Swafford; sister, Cortney R. (Andrew) Jones; nephews, Nolan and Eli Jones; grandmother, Vicki L. Campbell; grandparents, David H. and Tina M. “Susie” Kirby; grandmother, Betty A. (Wayne) Kiplinger; uncles, John (Jeanette) Swafford and Mike (Barbara) Swafford; aunts, Lela M. “Shelly” (Ron) Hall, Tina M. “Michelle” (Josh) Williams, Melissa A. Nelson (partner, Ryan Ottinger), Angela K. Halford, and Lisa L. (Keith) Smith; and many, many cousins.
Jeff was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul M. Campbell and uncle, Dave H. Kirby II.
Family and friends will gather Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
