Mrs. Joanne C. Clark, 90, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away Monday morning, June 24, 2024, at Zionsville Meadows. She was born on May 29, 1934, in Buffalo, New York, the only child of the late DeWitt Conn and Helen (Gear) Conn Hogg.
She was united in marriage to Rodger A. Clark on April 2, 1955, in Amherst, New York. They enjoyed 69 wonderful years together.
Raised and educated in New York, Joanne was a 1952 graduate of Amherst High School, and 1956 graduate of the University of Buffalo where she attained a degree in Medical Technology. In 1970, she and Rodger moved to Indiana, where Joanne began her career at Indiana University Medical Center as a Medical Technologist, retiring in 1994.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Joanne was a faithful member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed gardening and researching family genealogy. In addition, she had a passion for travel and belonged to the Tourist Club.
Survivors include her husband, Rodger Clark; four children, Linda (John) Calvert, Debra Holloman, Karen (Richard) Milam, and Janet Walker; nine grandchildren, Michael (Kelly) Calvert, Laura (Sven) Baertschi, Melissa (Matthew) Limato, Larry (Marie) Holloman, Jr., Gregory Milam, Scott Milam, Claire Milam, Julie Kron and Adam Kron; and four great grandchildren, Isley Calvert, Callan Baertschi, Emmy Baertschi, and Hadley Holloman.
In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her stepfather, Henry Hogg.
Private Family Memorial Services will be held at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Boone County Crematory has been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
