Johnnie M. Fisher, 73, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 14, 1948, in Mt. Comfort, Indiana; the son of the late John Alvin and Bonnie Bell (Means) Fisher.

He attended Arsenal Technical High School. On December 30, 1966, he was married to Trudy (Morgan) Fisher in Indianapolis, Indiana; she survives.

Johnnie was a longtime resident of Boone County. He worked in the maintenance department at several apartment complexes. Most recently he was employed with August Mack Environmental Inc. in Indianapolis. He was devoted to his family and friends and was a member of Brookside Indiana Social Club.

Survivors include his wife, Trudy Fisher of Lebanon; children, Trena (Mark Shoemaker) Brockway of Zionsville, Windy (William) Pricher of Lebanon, Jonna J. Fisher-Strange of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Christopher Brockway, Amanda Smith, Maxwell Strange, Destiny Julian, Austin Strange; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Ginger Sanders of Lebanon, Tina (Jay) Vinard of Sheridan, Phyllis Billerman of Greenfield; sister-in-law, Debby Fisher of New Palestine, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry W. Fisher and Guy A. Fisher and brother-in-law, David Sanders.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his arrangements for cremation.

Memorials may be given to the Boone County Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
