Joseph James Melvin Clark, 47, of Danville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on September 19, 1975, in Lebanon, Indiana, a son of Rick L. and Brenda K. (Hood) Clark.

On June 30, 2018, he was married to Elizabeth (Minor) Clark; she survives.

Joe was a 1994 graduate of Lebanon High School. He worked as a heavy machinery mechanic for Harding Group of Fishers for over 20 years. For the past five years, he was employed with MacAllister Machinery in Indianapolis.

Joe loved his family and was proud of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking and loved the great outdoors and riding his Harley.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Clark of Danville; seven children, Kymberly (Jeramey Wynkoop) Clark of Plainfield, Joe Clark of Danville, Morgan Clark of Danville, Sommer Clark of Danville, Raylee (Kody) Payne of Alamo, Jacob (Mady Hinkle) McClaine of Jamestown, and Kyle Klezmer of Fishers; six grandchildren; parents, Rick and Brenda Clark of Flora; and a sister, Cathy (Jeff) Strawmyer of Flora.

Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.

Memorials may be made to the family to set up a trust fund for the children.
