Kathleen “Kitty” Elizabeth Hopper Parkhurst, 72, of Jamestown, passed away Apr. 15, 2020, at Homewood Health in Lebanon.

Kitty was born May 8, 1947, in Crawfordsville, a daughter of the late Walter Earl and Lucy Thelma (Hoskins) Hopper. She married Donald Carlton Parkhurst on June 6, 1998. He preceded her in death.

Kitty graduated from Granville Wells in 1965. She went on to attend the House of James Beauty College, Purdue University, Ivy Tech, and IUPUI. Kitty owned Kitty’s House of Glamour in Advance. She was also a state inspector for cosmetology for the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. Kitty also worked for the Lebanon Pizza Hut for over 20 years.

Survivors include sister, Darleen Hopper of Brownsburg; brothers, Jeff (Nancy) Hopper of Jamestown and Bob (Alice Neal) Hopper of Buckeye, AZ; nieces, Krista (Keith) Cromwell of Jamestown and Courtney (Jason) Graham of Crawfordsville; and great nieces and nephews, Kolten and Kyler Cromwell and Lainey and Gracie Graham.

Kitty will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown with a graveside service Sat., Apr. 18, 2020, at 11 a.m., and friends are invited to attend while remaining in their vehicles.
