Mr. Robert Keith Scott, 71, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana on May 1, 1950, a son of Alice Marie (Philbeck) Bates and the late Robert Edward Scott.
He attended Lebanon High School. He was married to Vickey (Burns) Scott on July 5, 1970.
Keith worked for the State Highway Department, where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the First Assembly of God and also volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital.
He also was a member of frontiersman camping fraternity. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating at Pic-A-Spot campgrounds.
Survivors include wife, Vickey Scott of Greenwood; mother, Alice Bates of Lebanon; two sons, Robert Keith Scott, II and Thomas J. Scott; three granddaughters and one grandson; two great grandchildren; sister, Marcia Lynn Minor of Lebanon.
In addition to his father, Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Michael Scott.
Funeral Services are planned for 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana,
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
