The Lebanon Tigers welcome new Head Softball Coach Kerry Roussey to the Tiger family. Coach Roussey takes over a program that has been extremely successful over the past several years including capturing a 3A State Championship Title in 2016. Coach Roussey brings a wealth of softball knowledge and head coaching experience to the position.
Coach Roussey started the Heritage Softball program in Fort Wayne and was very successful. He later moved on to coach at Northrop High School where he captured 5 Conference and Sectional Titles, 4 Regional Championships, and made 2 State Final appearances. In 1997 he was named ICGSA coach of the year. Coach Roussey moved out of the state for a while, however, returned home to Indiana and last year helped out the North Putnam Softball program.
Coach Roussey currently resides in Greencastle with his wife Treva and 2 stepdaughters Emi and Kaylee. He works as a production manager for Hendrickson in Lebanon. Lebanon AD Phil Levine states, “We are extremely excited and glad to have Coach Roussey as a new member of our Tiger coaching family. Coach Roussey has big shoes to fill and a tremendous challenge ahead of him, however, I am confident with his knowledge and coaching experience, he will continue to keep our softball program as one of the top teams in the state.”
