Linda K. Bordwine, 69, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at her home in Thorntown, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on July 27, 1952, a daughter of the late Claude Mitchell and Verdia (Reagan) McHugh.
A lifelong resident of Boone County, Linda was a 1972 graduate of Lebanon High School. She had worked many years for Kauffman Engineering on the assembly line, retiring in 2021.
Linda had attended Mechanicsburg Christian Church. She was an avid reader. A devoted mother and grandmother, she loved her family and all of their get-togethers.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Robert E. “Bob” Campbell of Thorntown; two children, Amber (Derrick) Stanley of Lebanon, Heather (Mark) Spurlock of Thorntown; two grandchildren, Kaylynn Cole, Brookelynn Bordwine; sister, Margaret (Ed) Eldridge of Thorntown.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Rex Mitchell.
Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at the Cox Cemetery, rural Thorntown.
Memorials may be directed in Linda’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
