Mrs. Madonna Louise (Wethington) Belcher, 89, passed away Sunday morning, June 7, 2020 at her home in New Brunswick, Indiana. She was born April 19, 1931 in Jamestown, Indiana, a daughter of Ernest James and Gracie Jane (Wethington) Wethington.

On August 31, 1947, she was married to O’Emil Oscar Belcher in Lizton, Indiana. He passed away February 17, 1981.

Madonna and her husband were self-employed milk haulers from 1951 to 1986. She enjoyed many occupations throughout her life. She was a tool and die maker, cashier for Crystal Flash and McClure stations, and a school bus driver. For many years, she had volunteered at the Boone County 4-H fair.

Her hobbies included square dancing and clogging. She loved country music. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. Madonna’s pride and joy were her grandsons and great grandsons.

In addition to her parents and husband, Madonna was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresia L. Hograve; brother, James Wethington; and two sisters, Alene Farris and Joyce Haws.

Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana.
