Martha Dianne Birnbaum née Spellman moved to her heavenly home on February 17, 2022, at the age of 86.  She passed peacefully in the company of her youngest son, John.

Dianne was born on June 28, 1935, in Santa Monica, California.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a gifted watercolor artist and talented graphic designer.

While raising her children, Dianne operated The Circle Studio, a successful graphic arts and sales promotion business, from her Huntington Beach, California, home. Throughout the years, she and her husband, Cecil Jr., enjoyed traveling around the world painting, taking photos, and making lifetime memories together.  She worked as a graphic designer at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Company in Huntington Beach, and it was during this time that Dianne completed her education and received her Master of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach.  After retiring from McDonnell Douglas, she and Cecil Jr. continued to run The Circle Studio, and Dianne enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and painting.

Dianne is survived by her children Amy Datte (Kirk), Cecil III (Janice), and John; grandchildren Kevin Datte (Andrea), Hannah Seamans (Jonathan), and Charissa Laidig (Brandon); great-grandson, Jack; her sister, Kelley Spellman, and many nieces and nephews.  Her final resting place will be with her husband, Cecil Jr., at the Riverside National Cemetery.

Dianne will be deeply missed but precious memories and beautiful art work will keep her forever in our hearts.

Final care of Dianne has been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. You are invited to visit the website where you may sign her online register and leave a personal message at www.strawmyerdrury.com.
