Mary F. Sheets 90, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 11th . Mary was born on October 27, 1929 in Lebanon as was a lifelong resident of Boone County. She was the daughter of Walter O. and Catherine E. (Red) McIntyre.
Mary was married to Lewis M. Sheets. He preceded her in death after 48 years of marriage.
Mary is survived by her son, Randy L. Sheets (Allison) of Prescott, AZ; daughter and Diana L. Sheets of Indianapolis. Mary also leaves two grandchildren, Michael L. Sheets of Lafayette, IN and Catherine (Clint) E. Jenkins of Cave Creek, AZ along with four great grandchildren and several nieces. Mary was preceded in death by sisters Marilyn (Robert) Stockton, Juanita (Walter) Mitchell and brother Walter (Beverly) McIntyre.
Mary was employed at several places in Lebanon including J&L Bucket Factory, Modern Cleaners and retired after many years from Commercial Filters.
After retirement Mary loved doting on her grandkids, attending their games and activities and staying busy around her house. She enjoyed traveling to visit family when she could and made several trips to Colorado. She especially enjoyed the Caribbean cruise she once took with her family.
Mary was always one to help a person in need and would welcome that memorial contributions be made in her name at The ARC of Greater Boone County, 900 West Main St., Lebanon, IN 46052.
Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2020 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Visitors are asked to adhere to the current social distancing guidelines that have been put into place by the State of Indiana. Burial will follow services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana.
