Megan Rose Hine Werner, 33, of Lebanon, passed away Dec. 12, 2019, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Megan was born Nov. 19, 1986, in Frankfort, IN, daughter of Alec James Maxwell and Reba Sue (Hine) Bray.

Megan graduated from Lebanon High School in 2005. She then graduated from Kaplan College in 2014, where she was the Valedictorian of her class. Megan also attended Ivy Tech and earned a medical degree. When her health permitted, Megan enjoyed working at Wal-Mart, Kroger, and St. Vincent Hospital. She enjoyed playing Bingo, singing, and attending family gatherings.

Megan was a Riley Hospital baby and Riley was able to give her the chance to have mobility throughout her life.

Survivors include her father, Alec Maxwell of Lebanon; maternal grandparents, Ed and Peggy Hine of Lebanon; paternal grandmother, Jodell Maxwell of Lebanon; aunt, Dawn (Kevin) Walker of Lebanon; uncles, Jeff (Linda) Hine of Indianapolis and David Hine of Lebanon; and former husband, Scott Werner. Megan was preceded in death by her mother, Reba, who passed away on Dec. 10, 1999.

Family and friends will gather Wed., Dec. 18, 2019, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
