Michael Lynn Hale, 67, of Lebanon passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. He was born on August 20, 1952 in Lebanon, Indiana, a son of Lottie (Nease) Hale and the late Dewey Amos Hale.

Mike attended Lebanon High School. Following high school he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. On September 30, 1972, he was married to Marcia Mae (Kelley) Hale in Lebanon; she passed away on August 27, 2001.

He was a longtime employee for Lebanon Utilities as a manager of meter readers and while living in Florida, in his early years, he worked for AmeriGas Propane.

Mike enjoyed tinkering in his garage, working on cars, and on his home. He also loved riding his Harley, was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with family.

Brenda (Jim) Engle of Lebanon

Four-legged companions: Sammy and Maggie

Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins

In addition to his father and wife, Mike was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Hale.

Private Family Services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Entombment of Ashes will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
