(Foxboro, MA) — Veteran linebacker James Harrison is joining the New England Patriots after being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers over the weekend. The Pats have signed Harrison to an undisclosed deal. Harrison is the Steelers’ all-time leader with 80-and-a-half sacks. The 39-year-old, however, has appeared in just five games with Pittsburgh this year.

There are several reports that say Arians’ time with the Red Birds will end next week. “Pro Football Weekly” says Arians and the team have agreed to part ways after the Cards take on the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Arians called the story “fake news” and says he’s yet to make a decision about his future.

(Los Angeles, CA) — Clippers star Blake Griffin is nearing a return to the court. Head coach Doc Rivers says it’s possible Griffin could play on Friday when LA plays the Lakers as the road team at STAPLES Center. The starting power forward has been out since November 27th with a sprained left medial collateral ligament.

(Phoenix, AZ) — UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen did not play in their 35-17 loss to Kansas State in the Cactus Bowl at Chase Field. Rosen had two concussions in four weeks in November. The Bruins finished the season 6-and-7. UCLA’s star QB hasn’t made a decision whether to enter the 2018 NFL Draft yet.
