>>NFL Thanksgiving Tripleheader On Tap

(Undated)  —  It will be a feast for football fans today with an NFL Thanksgiving tripleheader.  It starts with the Vikings and Lions in an NFC North battle this afternoon in Detroit.  Minnesota leads the Lions by two games in the division.  That’s followed by the Chargers and Cowboys in Dallas.  The night game features an NFC East tussle between the Giants and Redskins at Washington.

>>Lions Add Freeney, Chiefs Ink Reavis

(Undated)  —  A pair of NFL teams eying the playoffs are bringing in some veteran help for the stretch run.  The Lions have claimed pass rusher Dwight Freeney off waivers.  The 37-year-old was released by the Seahawks this week.  Meanwhile, the Chiefs have signed cornerback Darrelle Reavis [[ REE-viss ]].  The 32-year-old had been unsigned after being with the Jets last year.

>>Celtics’ Winning Streak Ends At 16

(Miami, FL)  —  The Celtics’ winning streak melted against the Heat with a 104-98 loss at Miami.  Boston had won 16 straight games after an 0-and-2 start, but came up three shy of the franchise record of 19 straight wins in 2008.  Kyrie Irving scored 23 points in defeat.  It was the first loss for the Celtics since October 18th against Milwaukee.  Boston will host Orlando tomorrow.

>>Trump Continues Twitter Blasts

(Washington, DC)  —  President Trump is taking more shots at sports figures via Twitter.  He blasted NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about a reported plan to keep players in the locker room during the national anthem next season, saying it’s almost as bad as kneeling.  Trump also berated LaVar Ball again for downplaying his role in getting Ball’s son out of jail for shoplifting in China.

>>Chip Kelly Deciding Between UCLA, Florida

(Undated)  —  Former NFL and college coach Chip Kelly is trying to determine his future.  He is reportedly deciding whether to take the head coaching gig at UCLA or Florida.  Kelly is expected to make a decision in the next few days.  He had great success at Oregon before two failed NFL stints with the Eagles and 49ers.  The Tennessee Volunteers have also reportedly made a lucrative offer.
