Last week, Boone County commissioners approved a policy prohibiting protesting on the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds. It’s a pre-emptive strike to give authorities the ability to remove disruptive people and ensure 4-H participants, their families and fair-goers have a good time. In addition to no protesting, a letter from commissioners to fair officials encourages fair officials and the public to notify security as soon as “a guest or group of guests are becoming loud and troublesome.” More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
