Your Fourth of July Grand Marshal, the Lebanon Fire Department with members of the Fourth of July Committee.

The Boone County Fourth of July Committee announces the 2022 Boone County 4th of July Parade Marshal by awarding the honor to the City of Lebanon Fire Department. As one of the oldest fire departments in the state of Indiana; this year, LFD celebrates its 150th anniversary of service to the City of Lebanon. For the last 150 years the Department has strived to provide the highest quality of fire and EMS care to residents and people traveling through the city. LFD currently fields more than 4,000 calls and inspections per year. However, the Department offers services beyond responding to emergencies which include the car seat program providing not only car seats, but also installation and checks to those in need. In addition, LFD’s Station 11 hosts one of Indiana’s first “Safe Haven Baby Box” sites. The Department offers CPR classes, as well as visits to daycares, educational facilities and organizations/clubs for youth and adult education. LFD also maintains a Juvenile Fire Setters program which provides counseling to troubled youth. We are honored to have the Lebanon Fire Department serve as this year’s 2022 Boone County 4th of July Parade Marshal and hope that you will join us in offering our sincerest congratulations to the Department for 150 years of excellence in public service.
