While unloading equipment at Herr Cabin at Memorial Park, Lebanon Parks Department employees saw a man steal one of their Ford F250 trucks that was running in the parking lot.
Lebanon Police Lt. Ben Phelps was flagged down by park employees around 10:58 a.m. Monday. By 11:06 a.m. reports were coming into the Boone County Communications Center that the truck had wrecked in the 1900 block of Elizaville Road. Police were on scene in time to see the suspect dash into the Ulen neighborhood. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
