Patty Clark 91, of ­­­­­­Lebanon, died peacefully in her home, May 24, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Patty was born May 20, 1933, in Frankfort, In, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Farrah (Dickson) Thompson.

She attended Frankfort High School, later marrying the love of her life, Frank J. Clark.

Patty had worked at the Cigar factory in Frankfort, and later for Western Southern Insurance in the claims department. She was a member of Mechanicsburg Christian Church and Boone County Homemaker Extension. Patty enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, camping and working at her church office. She and Frank loved being “snowbirds” for the winters in Sebring, Fl.

Survivors include; husband, Frank Clark; son, Rick (Brenda) Clark; daughters, Darlene (Charles) Gilbert and Dianne Strasser; brother, Loren (Judy) Thompson; grandchildren, Melissa Gilbert, Matt (Lacy) Gilbert, Valerie (Scott) Daughtry, Peter Strasser, Catherine (Jeff) Strawmyer; 15 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Don Thompson; sisters, June Burress, Dean Schenck and Julianne Wilson; grandchild, Joseph Clark.

Family and friends will gather Friday, May 31, 2024 for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Patty will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort, In.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Mechanicsburg Christian Church Youth fund.
