Mr. Randall E. Thompson, Sr., 83, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, April 4, 2022, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born on May 28, 1938, in Nashville, Tennessee, a son of the late Paul E. and Dora (Newman) Thompson.
Raised in Tennessee, Randall was a 1956 graduate from high school in Nashville. Following school, he served his country honorably in the United States Marines. Randall worked many years as a counselor for the Veterans Administration. He was also a painter in his spare time.
Randall enjoyed fishing and being with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Survivors include two children, Randall E. (Angie) Thompson, Jr. of Vanleer, Tennessee, Candy A. Thompson of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Shane Mattingly, Ashleen Calloway, Chasity Pryll, Ashley Townes, James Taylor; along with many great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana. No visitation will be held. Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences: myersmortuary.com
