In a report that first aired on WLFI T.V. 18. The Rossville School Board has put the Middle and High School principal, Terry Thompson, on paid administrative leave. Tuesday night the board accepted Thompson’s original retirement letter that he submitted back in November of 2023. This decision stems from action that was taken last September; Thompson helped restrain a disruptive 7th grade student. Thompson was put on paid leave for seven weeks until an investigation was complete. Thompson was cleared of any criminal charges and returned as principal.
