Rossville Softball with their Regional trophy.
The Rossville softball team defeated Riverton Parke for the second year in a row to win the regional round of the state softball tournament 4-1. Behind a strong pitching performance from Avery Layton Rossville was able to build an early 2-1 lead. A single run in the 5th inning and another run in the 6th was too much for Riverton Parke to overcome. Next up for Rossville will be the semi state Saturday at Frankfort.
