Mr. Steve Petty, 67, of Qunicy, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at his home. He was born April 28, 1955, in Illinois, a son of the late Ralph and Carol (Myers) Petty.

Steve attended Northwest High School and then went on to serve in the U.S. National Guard. He worked at Target in various roles, most recently as a truck driver. Steve also had worked as a mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. His family was the most important part of his life and he loved their family gatherings. Steve also enjoyed being outside, whether it was working in his yard or hiking. He loved playing cards and table games, especially Uno and Yahtzee. Steve also enjoyed wood working, watching the Indianapolis Colts and Walker Texas Ranger.

Survivors include his fiancé, Linda Gibbs of Qunicy; children, Melissa (David) Ramage of Romney, Bethany (Johnathon) Elliott of Lebanon, Kristina (fiancé, Jimmy Miller) Petty of Lebanon, and Bryan (Natalie) Petty of Lebanon; step-children, Larry Beeson, Melissa Beeson, Richard Beeson, and Lori Beeson; siblings, Daniel (Cathy) Petty, Gerald Petty, and Brenda (Roger) Durrett; 26 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, March 25, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
