The Farmers Bank is pleased to announce the election of Matt Jackson to its Board of Directors, effective Tuesday, May 21, 2024.  “We are very fortunate to have Mr. Jackson as the newest member of our Board of Directors,” said Chris Cook, President & CEO. “His knowledge of commercial real estate is a significant added value for the bank. Also, his community involvement in Boone County aligns with our company’s community focus. I look forward to the insights and direction he will bring our Board of Directors and The Farmers Bank.”

Matt is the president and founder of Jackson Investment Group and boasts more than 18 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate, with a concentrated focus in the medical, industrial, office and healthcare fields. He has facilitated hundreds of transactions, with values exceeding $800 million.

A native Hoosier and graduate of Western Boone High School and Indiana University, he is also involved with numerous organizations in Boone and Marion counties. He has been active in organizations such as Boone County PTABOA, Lebanon Youth Baseball, Western Boone Youth Baseball, Western Boone Youth Football, Dynamic Minds Institute Board of Directors and Boone County EDC. He is also involved with Western Boone High School, specifically Baseball and Football Boosters.

Matt and his wife, Kelly, have five children.
