FRANKFORT, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced traffic will shift on State Road 28 in Frankfort on Wednesday, January 5 as part of the multi-year $17.9 million project. 

Westbound traffic will be moved from the existing lane on the north side of S.R. 28 to the newly constructed lane on the south side of the road between Jackson St. and McKinley Ave. This will allow the contractor to begin reconstructing the north side of the road.

Eastbound S.R. 28 traffic will be moved from the existing lane on the north side of S.R. 28 to the newly constructed lane on the south side west of Short Myrtle Ave. to McKinley Ave.
